Reflections on the Importance of CER Methods Training – 3 Real-World Perspectives at CER Institute
Center for Medical Technology Policy Founder and President, Sean Tunis, MD, MSc will present opening remarks and moderate the opening forum “Reflections on the Importance of CER Methods Training – 3 Real-World Perspectives.” Panelists providing remarks on this topic include Daniel Mullins, PhD of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy with an Academic perspective; Nancy Dreyer, MPH, PhD of Outcome Sciences, Inc. with a Contract Research Organization perspective; and Marc Berger, MD of Ingenix Life Sciences with an Industry perspective.

The CER Institute will provide participants with interactive instruction in CER methods, engage participants in a discussion of policy trends, and ensure that Institute attendees understand effective methods for translating the results from CER studies into policy and practice. Courses are aimed at mid-career professionals with some understanding of CER, and are designed to allow participants to self-select topics of greatest relevance to their professional needs. These courses will be led by top CER and will feature real world case studies and interactive group discussions.
