Suggest a Research Topic

CMTP exists to improve the ability of decision-makers - including patients, their physicians, payers, and purchasers - to make informed, evidence-based decisions about appropriate clinical use and reimbursement for important emerging medical technologies.  As such, CMTP is interested in receiving suggestions for emerging medical technologies for facilitated-research projects, effectiveness guidance documents, and other policy-related projects.  We will consider technologies that have not yet diffused widely, but are FDA-approved, and show potential to substantially improve net health outcomes.

Please follow the link to our Topic Nomination petition, and complete the form as thoroughly as possible.  Following your topic submission, a representative from CMTP will contact you for further specifics on your proposal.  Note that every question may not be relevant to your proposed medical technology.  If you have any questions about this form, please contact Swapna Karkare.
