Position: Senior Program Director, Green Park Collaborative – USA

Position Summary
The Senior Program Director will lead the Green Park Collaborative – USA (GPC-USA), an exciting new initiative of CMTP. GPC-USA is a multi-stakeholder forum that will be developing condition-specific methodological standards to guide the generation of evidence needed to inform coverage and payment decisions in the United States. The GPC-USA will accomplish this important objective by providing a neutral, trusted forum within which payers, life sciences companies, patients, clinicians, researchers and other stakeholders can reach consensus on how best to design studies that demonstrate real world effectiveness and value. In 2013, the work of the GPC-USA will focus on methodological standards for comparative effectiveness research in oncology and diabetes.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, develop and direct all operations of the GPC-USA.
- Serve on the CMTP Leadership Team, contributing to the ongoing refinement of the organization’s strategic direction, and ensuring that that the work of the GPC-USA is fully coordinated with other CMTP program priorities
- With the GPC-USA Advisory Board and CMTP Executive Team, formulate strategic goals and take ownership for strategic initiatives, including development of measures of success, and timelines and resources required to achieve program goals.
- Expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support the growth of the GPC-USA while cultivating existing relationships with members and partners.
- Refine and standardize the process for developing methodological standards, drawing on best practices applied by other high-performing standard setting organizations.
- Expand and cultivate relationships with experts and stakeholders in each of the clinical domains for which Consortia are established.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement processes for GPC-USA initiatives.
- Develop and implement quality and risk management plans for minimizing the impact on program objectives and deliverables.
- Develop dissemination system to share organizational learning with a broad range of constituents.
- Act as effective ambassador for CMTP and GPC-USA, explaining to outsiders CMTP’s and GPC-USA’s mission, impact goals, major programs and how they can become involved with the organization.

Experience and Education
- Master’s degree in public health, health care administration, public policy or business; PhD or MD degree desirable.
- 5+ years proven track record in client management and/or business development
- Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic non-profit environment.
- Substantial familiarity with all major health care stakeholder groups, including payers, patient advocacy organizations and medical professional societies
- 5+ years management and supervisory experience
- Exceptional ability and desire to deliver quality customer service.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Continuous standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day.
- Some travel may be required, including out of state.
- Some light lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
- Continuous typing and viewing of a computer screen may be required.
- Must be able to calmly and effectively work with high stress situations.
