Rachael Moloney, MHS is a Senior Research Associate at CMTP. Ms. Moloney is actively involved in a number of projects aimed at promoting quality methodology and increased use of comparative effectiveness research for evidence-based medicine and health policy decision-making. In particular, Rachael is working with a multidisciplinary team to build a set of guiding principles with specific criteria to aid researchers in their path from the identification of the research question to the strongest and/or most appropriate study design choosing methods to best answer the intended research question. Rachael is also collaborating on a manuscript examining major challenges and lessons learned from planning design, analysis and operational procedures as identified by key stakeholders involved in a large simple trial (LST) comparing several active treatments for osteoporosis utilizing Medicare data linked to clinical data from practice-based research networks.
