Merianne (Tiglao) Spencer is a Research Associate at CMTP. She started as an intern in June 2009 and has supported a variety of CMTP projects including an AHRQ-funded project in the management and treatment of uterine fibroid disease, the New Indications for Post-Approval Trials in Oncology Symposium, and the First Annual CER Summit in Oncology. She graduated with dual degrees in physiology/neurobiology and psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Presently, her work at CMTP has been in stakeholder engagement supporting the AHRQ- Community Forum Project, CMTP ESP project, and Patient and Consumer Advisory Committee (PCAC). She is currently managing the Patient-Reported Outcomes in Oncology project, which involves developing methodological guidance for collecting PROs for adult cancer patients in post-approval trials.
