Served as Patient Rep/Consumer at meeting in Rockville MD convened by (CMTP) in collaboration with the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) to obtain feedback on a prospective cohort study comparing the outcomes for patients with prostate cancer treated with proton beam and those treated with IMRT. Participants in the meeting included several members of the research team, AHRQ, NCI, CMS, CMTP, several companies providing proton beam and or IMRT services, and others. Discussions included options for funding and implementation of the study protocol.
