GPC Hosts Webinar: Initial Medical Policy and Model Coverage Guidelines for Clinical Next Generation
November 9, 2015
GPC to host free webinar Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Join us on November 24 at 10 AM ET for a free webinar hosted by the Center for Medical Technology Policy (CMTP) on the Green Park Collaborative’s Initial Medical Policy and Model Coverage Guidelines for Clinical Next Generation Sequencing in Oncology. These Guidelines were the product of discussions among a diverse group of stakeholders to develop standards for clinical utility and practicable coverage guidelines for diagnostic testing using next generation sequencing (NGS) in oncology.
We will begin with an introduction from CMTP President and CEO, Sean Tunis, followed by a review of the Medical Policy and Coverage Guidelines from CMTP Vice President, Donna Messner. We will then hear perspectives from a group of stakeholders representing payers, industry, patients, clinicians, and innovators in evidence development. Following these perspectives, webinar participants will be invited to submit questions and offer comments.
Our goal is to reach out to a broad group of stakeholders in our continuing effort to overcome barriers to more rapid clinical evaluation, clinical uptake, and coverage of efficacious DNA sequencing for the benefit of patients with cancer. Please join us in this effort and feel free to forward this invitation to interested colleagues.
