News Item: Wade aubry article in Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law

CMTP Associate Director Wade M. Aubry, MD, has published a new article in the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, co-authored with Peter D. Jacobson, JD, MPH and Richard A. Rettig, PhD. The article, Litigating the Science of Breast Cancer Treatment, addresses the question of "whether and how litigation contributed to the diffusion of the procedure" known as HDC/ABMT (high dose chemotherapy with autologous bone-marrow transplant), which was subsequently shown to be ineffective for treating breast cancer. The article appears in the October 2007 edition. (click here for PubMed citation and abstract).
